2023 - Mimico

Summer 2023 marked our 5 year anniversary in Amos Waites Park! The festival took place on Saturday evenings in Mimico Square, beginning with a mural unveiling dance party on June 24th and continuing July 8th-29th with free community dance workshops in Afro Cuban, West African, Vogue, Brazilian Samba, Popping, Ukrainian Folk, Latin Fusion and Contemporary Indigenous Dance. This year also featured community mural painting, live music and dance performances on the mural. The festival brought together over 50 artists and over 500 community participants.
